Guide: How To Get To Paleokastritsa

Corfu is the most beautiful Greek island for holidays on 2023!

Corfu has it everything, from beautiful beaches to the lush green landscapes of the Ionian Islands, as well as old Venetian architecture. As one of the few Greek provinces to successfully battle the Ottoman Empire, Corfu became one of Europe’s most highly fortified places! In Corfu Town, the island’s capital, both the Old and New Fortresses may be visited today. Another must-see lovely sight is the Achilleion Palace, which is about a 30-minute bus journey from Corfu Town.

Paleokastritsa Beach is a word that refers to a group of six beaches that encircle Paleokastritsa. However, Paleokastritsa Beach(also known as Agios Spyridon Beach) is the most popular beach on the island. This beach is served by the majority of bus lines. Paddle boats, cafés, bars, and restaurants are among the most popular tourist attractions. In addition, the Paleokastritsa Monastery is a 15-minute (uphill) walk from the beach.

From Corfu Town, the best method to reach to Paleokastritsa is via bus. The ride takes around an hour, and tickets are available for €2.30 on the bus. There are a few bus stops strewn across Corfu Town; ask your hotel or a local where the nearest one is. You may also go straight to the bus station (Green Buses), which is located at Donatou Dimoulitsa 57.
